The victory in the Grand Prix went to Morgan Barbançon with her Dutch bred Habana Libre A in the CDIO 4* Grand Prix at the CHIO Rotterdam 2023. Habana Libre A (Zizi Top x United) was auctioned during Excellent Dressage Sales 2015.
Getting ready for Paris
In Rotterdam, France makes a strong statement in the year before the 2024 Paris Olympics. They have prepared, progressed and improved and have now shown they have a solid base of three riders who can score 72% or more. And more potential is knocking at the door.
Morgan Barbançon and her 11-year-old KWPN gelding Habana Libre A started this year on a winning streak in Wellington, Florida, and continued it two weeks ago on European soil in Lipica (SLO). Now in Rotterdam, they produced a solid ride that showcased their routine and experience. Only a bump in the one tempo changes kept the score from going above 73%.
