Ody’s sire, the talented Ferdeaux, is in training with Hans Peter Minderhoud. This good breeding stallion by Bordeaux competed twice in the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses. From his first crop of foals, Ferdeaux saw his sons Jarville and Jerveaux approved for breeding. Ody’s dam’s sire is the world’s number one dressage horse: De Niro. With a nine for her walk, Ody’s granddam Anouk excelled in her mare test. Her grandsire Tango and great-grandsire Gribaldi competed successfully in the Grand Prix, as did Ody’s grandsires Bordeaux and De Niro. An interesting horse in this pedigree is Doruto, who put Dutch dressage horse breeding on the map in the 1970’s and 1980’s. This is the Lady-line of the approved stallions Hermès and Johnny Cash.
