In 2016, Ogranta’s sire Valverde was the convincing champion of the Westfalen stallion selection. This year, the five-year-old Vitalis son competed in the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses. Valverde passes on his solid conformation and excellent movement to his offspring. Those traits are also evident in Ogranta, who features the names of magnificent stallions in her pedigree — sires who have given the breeding industry a huge boost. The Granta-line has produced numerous good inspection horses and fantastic sporthorses. Ogranta’s granddam Nugranta is a full-sister to the Grand Prix horse Roemer and dam to four dressage horses (Z1, ZZ-L, ZZ-Adv and ST). Her dam Zigranta, who is also a prestatie mare, has five offspring in the sport (Z1, Z2, ZZ-L, ST and GP) as well as good sporthorse grand- and great-grandoffspring.
