Ontario TC’s dam Jillz is from Huub van Helvoirt’s famous Wendy-line, which has produced notable horses including Charmeur, Zuidenwind and Zhivago. Last month, Jillz’s sire Dream Boy competed in his third international championship. Ontario TC’s great-granddam Vowendy was a Z2-level dressage horse and is the dam of Hamilton (s.Apache), who achieved international success in the young horse classes with Elisabeth Geluk and competed in the ZZ-light. Vowendy is a full-sister to the Grand Prix mare Dowendy. Through Ontario TC’s sire Joop TC, the stallion Contango graces both the sire- and dam’s side. Ontario TC’s grandsire Ravel, who was among the best Grand Prix horses of his generation under Steffen Peters, passed on his talent to Joop TC, who shows abundant ability and won the VSN Trophy as a three-year-old.
