Charites, the dam of Nadine and the number one mare in dressage horse breeding for years, is the fourth dam in Oristano’s pedigree. This is perhaps the best dressage-line in the Netherlands. Oristano’s dam Heseda combines sport (Z2-dressage) with breeding. With four sporthorse offspring, her dam Reseda is a true ambassador of the line. Oristano’s great-granddam Malrove was a convincing inspection champion and daughter of Charites, who is the foundation mare of the approved stallions Kroonjuweel, Karolus van Wittenstein and Dorado. Last year, Oristano’s sire Blue Hors Zackerey captured the championship in Oldenburg after showcasing a spectacular collection of foals. His sire Zack is among the world’s best horses in sport and breeding, like his grandsire Sandro Hit.
