From the start, Phlox’s sire Glock’s Toto Jr. has impressed with his offspring. His daughters dominated the mare inspections; and of his 20 approved sons, King Karim and Taminau turned heads in the competition. Glock’s Toto Jr., a Totilas son, is ready for his Grand Prix career.
Phlox’s dam Zinnya A enjoyed a sport career at the Small Tour level. Her oldest offspring Espresso (s.Florencio) has also reached that level. Zinnya A’s most renowned half-brother is the stallion Ferdinand, who was sold to Russia for the sport. Their dam Sabine also produced the Small Tour horses Vortuyn and Dante, as well as Hercules, who competed in the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses. Phlox’s granddam Kimberlie is the dam and granddam of 11 horses at the Z level and higher. In addition, she is a half-sister to the Grand Prix dressage horse Lester. Kimberlie’s dam Fantasie earned the prestatie predicate and produced good dressage horses.
