Kingfisher turns heads with his suppleness and ability to collect, qualities which will be necessary later for the Grand Prix! Ease and balance are two more traits which characterize Kingfisher. His sire is the dressage phenomenon and stallion selection champion Franklin, who has already achieved many successes. On Kingfisher’s dam’s side we find the stallion Jazz, who boasts an impressive succession of inspection champions and exceptional sporthorses. Kingfisher’s dam Ultima also produced J’adore, who was among the notable horses in the studbook inspection, having scored 80/80. Marina, Kingfisher’s great-granddam produced the Small Tour horse Alonso (s. Tuschinski) and the Big Tour horse West Side (s. Florett AS), as well as offspring which compete at the Z-level or higher.
