Odie’s dam Ilabanda is among the youngest broodmares by the influential preferent stallion Contango. She performed a good mare test, receiving four 8’s. Her dam Cartush, who is also an elite mare, earned the sport predicate in both dressage (Z2) and jumping (1.35m). She produced an offspring who competes in the Prix St. Georges and another who competes at the ZZ-advanced level. She is by the Westfalen stallion Cartusch out of a Mecklenburg mare of Trakehner lineage. Odie’s sire Fürst Jazz is out of Huub van Helvoirt’s superior Endy-line. His dam is a half-sister to the stallion Zhivago and the Big Tour horses Anderson P and Estados. Last year, Fürst Jazz passed his sport test with an average of 8.27. He impresses with his superior movement time after time.
