Maranello (s.Toto Jr), Poseidon’s half-sister, was invited to the National Mare Inspection. Her half-sister Kato (s.Ferdinand) competed in the same inspection. After showing in the regional championship, she advanced to the final. As a result, their dam Batja now holds the preferent predicate. Poseidon’s granddam Emaika excelled as a broodmare, producing eight offspring which earned her the prestatie predicate. Among them are the Grand Prix horse Kondor and Batja’s three full-brothers and full-sisters. In addition, Poseidon’s granddam Emaika, who was classified at Z2-level dressage, is the granddam and great-granddam of multiple Small Tour horses. Her sire Ulft is among the foundation sires of modern dressage horse breeding.
Poseidon’s sire Koning is an elegant Governor son whose pedigree unites the great mares Fidora (s.Ulft) and Annabel (s.De Niro).
