Monte Carlo (3)

EDS foal has become a favourite at the KWPN and Danish Stallion Show

In 2017, Monte Carlo (Dreamboy x United) was sold at the EDS foal auction for 19,000 euros. Three years later, the talented foal has grown into an impressive brown stallion, which has been a favourite on several stallion shows.

Fantastic dam line
In 2017, Monte Carlo already stood out among all other foals. Not surprising, because his whole family is overflowing with talent. Father Dream Boy needs no explanation. Ridden by Hans Peter Minderhoud, the black stallion has already achieved several top 5 rankings in World Cup competitions. He achieved team silver at the 2019 World Cup and European Championship 2019 and has already 11 approved sons in various European studbooks. Monte Carlo’s mother is ‘ster’ mare Gina Ballerina. Also known as half-sister to Gm Esperanza and Annette Ballerina. Gm Esperanza was already invincible in the Young Riders and U25 classes under youth rider Jasmien de Koeyer. Meanwhile, the only eight-year-old mare has been classified Grand Prix internationally.

Claire Gallimore from Great Britain competes with half-sister Annette Ballerina. This duo also recently started at international Grand Prix level. In addition to top mares, the stallions of this family also perform well. For example, we find the KWPN approved stallions Son de Niro and Bolero in the pedigree of Monte Carlo.

Premium stallion KWPN Stallion Show and Danish Stallion Show
Monte Carlo was the eyecatcher at the KWPN Stallion Show in Den Bosch on Friday, with his strong and powerful movements. Blue Hors decided after this performance to become half-owner of the impressive stallion. Thus, Blue Hors Monte Carlo was also presented at the Danish Stallion Show, where he became overall winner together with the stallion Iron. Not surprising with a 10 for exterior and a 9 for all three gaits.
