Excellent Dressage Sales was represented by no more than 3 horses during the Prix St. George at Jumping Amsterdam. Foundation RR (United x Jazz), Finnländerin (Fidertanz I x Donnerhall) en Ferrari (Jazz x Contango). All these horses were auctioned at EDS in 2014. Two of the EDS- horses ended up in the top 5. Also Yaël Reijnders did a lovely test with her EDS auctioned stallion Ferrari.
Foundation RR (United x Jazz)
Kirsten Brouwer and Foundation RR (United x Jazz) rode a great test end ended up in second place. They scored just above 73%. A very small difference from the first place. The approved stallion Foundation RR and Kristen Bouwers did very well between the other strong competitors. An achievement to be proud of!
Finnländerin (Fidertanz I x Donnerhall)
Madeleine Witte Vrees and Finnländerin (Fidertanz I x Donnerhall) also competed at Jumping Amsterdam during the Prix St. George on Thursday evening. They ended up in fourth place with a score of a little over 71 %. Very promising for the relatively young combination. Witte-Vrees and Finnländerin form a team since September 2019.
The two competed successfully in multiple shows on Small Tour level with very high results. Finnländerin was auctioned at Excellent Dressage Sales in 2014. “It’s a very nice horse to work with, she has got a great attitude. We are now training to compete at Grand-Prix Level, for which she shows great potential.”
Witte-Vrees and Brouwer both qualified for the Intermediaire I Freestyle on Saturday (25/01)
EDS-selection
Both horses were sold at the EDS auction for respectively € 30.000 and € 40.000. They both show great potential for the future. You can count on EDS to select and present the best horses again during this year’s auction. We auction young and older horses who show great potential to compete on a high level, just like Foundation RR and Finnländerin. This year EDS will take place on the 28th of March. On March 25th we will preview the horses who will be auctioned.
