How do the selection days work?
As every year, selection days are organized in January and February at various locations in the Netherlands. Anyone with a talented dressage horse has the opportunity to register for one of these selection days. After registration, the EDS team will discuss an time in the timetable of that selection day with the horse owner. At every location it is possible to warm up the horse before the presentation, for an optimal presentation to the EDS team.
The EDS team view the horse and provides feedback on their findings afterward. If a horse is selected for the Excellent Dressage Sales 2022, the horse is expected on 14, 15 or 16 February on the photo and video days. During these days, photos are taken of the horses and a video is made to promote the horse on the website.
