Saturday evening during the 9th edition of Excellent Dressage Sales 43 dressage talents came under the virtual hammer. The organization looks back on a successful auction.
Compared to other years, there were significantly more customers for the horses prior to the auction. Nevertheless, on the whole it could be seen that the bidders had adjusted their budgets slightly downwards, so that there were no major outliers and a number of horses were also bought back by owners. Nevertheless, most of the horses did get very happy new owners, such as Imax (Wynton x Flemmingh), Newton’s Law (In Style x Johnson), Flynstone (Feedback x Florestan I) and Cadanza (Zhivago x Aljano).
There was very active bidding of Vivaldi’s popular son Express. In the end, the stallion was auctioned for €131,000 and will then leave for Germany. The approved stallion First Date was not awarded. Young horses were also popular such as Paradise IMP ST-J (Jameson RS2 x Gaudi) , Patrick U.S. (Lord Europe x Cadans M), Pirate Veluw (Johnny Depp x Lester) and Pax P (Escolar x Florencio I).
