How is the much-discussed stallion Four Legends KS?

Four Legends KS (Wynton x Ferro) is a horse that has been talked about all his life. After the stallion bred by the Jansen family became performance topper at the KWPN Stallion Show in 2016, all eyes were on this talent. In 2016 Four Legends KS was offered through the Excellent Dressage Sales. Horse trader Judy de Winter bought the stallion, together with the Taiwanese investor Vincent Chen, for an amount of 605,000 euros. In recent years, the stallion has been trained by various riders and recently the news came out that the stallion will be for sale. For us it was time to ask owner Judy de Winter about the beautiful and talented Four Legends KS.

The Career of Four Legends KS

Judy de Winter: “The first time I met Four Legends KS was at Edward Gal and Hans Peter Minderhoud’s stable. At this stable, Marieke van der Putten was working as stable rider. She trained Four Legends KS at that moment en showed him for the Excellent Dressage Sales. His talent was immediately clear to me. ” Four Legends KS was purchased and initially came under the saddle of stable rider Philip van Ommen. Not much later Stephanie Kooiman became his new rider. She rode the stallion for two years, after which he was taken over by Dominique Filion after a short period under the saddle with Rozemarijn van Schaik. “Under Dominique Filion, Four Legends KS achieved his highest sports scores. In the Intermediaire 1 he won with a score over 70%.” Last year Filion stopped training Four Legends KS, which gave Stephanie de Frel the opportunity to further train the dressage talent. De Winter: “The goal is and has always been to achieve the Grand Prix level with Four Legends KS. That goal will not change, even though achieving this class will likely be under new ownership. We recently decided to sell Four Legends KS. ”

Great character and a lot of power

Already during the KWPN Stallion Performance Test, the fine character of the beautiful stallion was noticed and this has never changed. “Four Legends KS has a top character with a lot of power and an enormous zest for work. It’s never too much for this stallion and he wants to tackle everything. In addition, he will never be scared and he is always ready to go. Truly a stallion with a character of gold.” said De Winter.

Offspring with a lot of movement and appearance

Throughout his sports career, Four Legends KS was also an KWPN approved breeding stallion. Over the years, several offspring of the appealing stallion have been born. De Winter: “Four Legends KS gives all his offspring a beautiful foreleg and strong movements in the hindleg. In addition, he continues to breed chic types with a lot of charisma! ”

Future

As previously described, it was recently decided by De Winter that now is the best time to sell Four Legends KS. As far as is known, nothing has yet been settled with a possible buyer, so it remains to be seen who will become the new owner and trainer of this striking and much-discussed KWPN stallion.
