At the beginning of August, the full collection of foals from the EDS-Prinsenstad online foal auction will be presented online. But until then we can enjoy the more than 35 talented dressage foals that have already been published online. The foals are selected because of their good conformation and movements, but the dam-line, sport results of family members and expectation value play an important role.
Powerful movement and a good type
De selection days were visited by many breeders, which made it possible for the EDS team to select already a fantastic collection. Looking at movement, Pretty Perfect (s. Livius) stood out. 
This elegant filly moves with power and a lot of suppleness, like a modern dressage horse should. Dam Dolita is a elite IBOB (drs) mare. Her oldest son Handsome C, who showed in the international young horse competitions, is currently competing in the Small Tour.
Also Kjento-son Picasso moves with a lot of power and a fantastic 
conformation. You can see the influence of grandsire Negro. In Picasso’s dam-line we find a lot of good dressage horses, but even a lot of international showjumping horses. Not surprisingly Picasso has an impressive canter.
The best Dutch dam-lines
In the collection that have been published already, you can find foals from a lot of famous Dutch and German dam-lines. Like the attractive
filly Piamora B (s. In Style). She is an offspring of the celebrated Tamora-Olien-Kerin family. In July, this mare-line was described in detail in the KWPN Magazine. The line has become famous due to its numerous elite sporthorses and approved stallions.
An offspring of one of the best dam-lines in the Netherlands is Pegasus BSW. His great granddam is the famous top breeding value 
mare Annabel, who produced the approved stallions Bretton Woods and Chagall D&R. Annabel is also granddam of the approved stallions Four Legend and Le Formidable, the latter of which is also a popular champion stallion. In addition, Annabel’s offspring and grand-offspring compete at a high level in the sport. Besides his dam-line, Pegasus BSW is a interesting foal, because he is among the last sons of a leading sire Jazz, who unfortunately passed away this year.
