In 2018, nine dressage foals were added to the horse collection of the Excellent Dressage Sales at Hooge Mierde. One of these foals was Nostradamus (Painted Black x Chippendale), at that time owned by breeder Nathalie Smeets. Yaël Reijnders purchased the bay stallion foal, who moved strong and with a good confirmation. That turns out to be a fantastic purchase, because today the now 2,5-year-old stallion convinced during the KWPN Stallion Show and pass the first round viewing.

Second round viewing
Stallions that pass the first round viewing may proceed to the second round viewing. In between the first and second round viewing, the dressage stallions will be lunged on the KWPN-center in Ermelo. The lunging will be done by the owner/trainer themselves. The lunging is not a separate selection moment, but it provides the stallion selection committee with relevant additional information about the stallions.
