Success for Colt Sollenburg in the U25 during CDI Exloo

This week Bo Oudhof started with Colt Sollenburg (Vivaldi x Osmium) in the international Grand Prix U25 during CDI Exloo. With a good performance in a strong field of riders, the combination ended in fourth place with a score of 70.294%.

A successful career together

In 2014, the then seven-year-old Colt Sollenburg was sold during the Excellent Dressage Sales. Since that moment, the talented gelding has formed a combination with Bo Oudhof. Via the Junior level, in which they became Dutch champions and achieved several international victories, the duo went up to the Young Riders level. In this level they were part of the Dutch Young Riders team who won silver at the European Championship in 2017.

Last year, the talented combination made the switch to the Grand Prix U25. Due to Covid-19 they have not been able to start in this class as often as hoped. Nevertheless, she already achieved a nice score of 72.542% during the final of the Dutch Dressage Championships last year.

And now, after the long break in the competition, a great score of over 70% was achieved again. Colt Sollenburg again scored well in the collected exercises, such as the piaffe and the pirouettes.
