The expectations of the EDS selection committee far exceeded

The EDS-Prinsenstad online foal auction was very successful. Practically all breeders saw their talented foals leave to a new owner. In addition, 8 foals were sold for €20,000 or more.

Richmond (by Dynamic Dream) was sold for €53,000, making it the most expensive foal sold at the auction. The interest in Riley Rules (by Livius) was also very high. This powerfully moving colt changed hands for €40,000. The most expensive filly sold was Rieky’s Design (by Fürst Dior). This half-sister of the approved stallion and the top talent at this moment Hermès is moving to Scotland for €35,000.

Fantastic result for all breeders
From the 70 dressage foals in the collection, 84% were sold. The average price was far above €10,000. A result to be proud of according to the EDS team.

“We already talked about a dream collection in advance and that was confirmed during the auction. The collection contained top foals from strong dam lines and from various stallion dams. This quality was recognized by many buyers.”

Wide international customer base foundation for success
The EDS-team: “Every year we see our wide, international customer base expanding. These buyers of foals and sport horses from the Netherlands and abroad are the basis for our success.”
