Last weekend Rockstar (by Rock Forever) and his English rider Lisa Marriott had a fantastic score of 72.24% during their first Intermediate I competition. The competition was at Aintree, the world famous race course and home of the Grand National.
Lisa: “After becoming reserve for the World Breeding Championships for 7-year-old horses last year, Rockstar made the next step to Small Tour. Last weekend he was doing a fantastic job during his first Inter I ever. He felt absolutely awesome with a few costly green parts, that I think is allowed at 8 years. I’m super happy with the result! The highlights of our ride were the trot half passes and the canter pirouettes.”
Small horse with a huge character
In 2016 Lisa Marriott purchased the then 3-year-old Rockstar during the Excellent Dressage Sales. Every moment since, she enjoys his presence and progression. “Rockstar is a little horse with a huge character and so much energy! His cheeky personality gives him his presence in the arena. I can’t thank Excellent Dressage Sales enough for pairing me with such a special little horse. He is not just a great dancing partner, but a good friend too!”
